US - History 9 Interview Project 2019: Home

2019 Update

The Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment

"The Age of Enlightenment," a phrase coined by the German philosopher, Immanuel Kant (1724 – 1804), represents the change from antiquity to modernity, the period in history where the modern world began and science replaced superstition."

This libguide supports your Grade 9 ZIS Social Studies Unit. Look around this page. Notice the tabs and what you can find there. Look down to see your assignment directions. Explore them carefully and note that each box is linked directly to the assignment pages on Google Docs. Once you have finished the unit, you might test yourself below in the Portrait Gallery to see how many of the major thinkers you recognize.  Answers 1-10 can be found under the Books & Resources tab or by clicking on the source of each portrait.
